It is also easily accessed. It takes 1 hour 45 minutes by car from Lisbon or Oporto and 4 hours from Algarve. It is close to Coimbra and Leiria (both 40 minutes away by car) and Tomar (25 minutes by car) –  all of them are historic cities and have hospitals and universities.

It is also a mere 20 minutes by car away from Pombal (where you can take the train to just about  anywhere, including Porto, Lisbon, Algarve and Spain). Spain is only 2 hours away by car. The sea and various incredible beaches are only 45 minutes away by car, as well as  Figueira Da Foz  which is a coastal city with ship docks, fishermen docks and docks for boats used for tourism and diversions. The city also has many beautiful beaches, casino etc.

The nearest hospital is only 5km away; the nearest market, school and pharmacy are only 2km away; the nearest music school are only 5km away. It is 25 minutes by car away from the river Zêzere (search for “foz de alge Zêzere” on google images) and 40 minutes from the river Mondego in Coimbra, both ideal for water sports and fishing or simply to spend some quality leisure time. The property is surrounded a few km by several small towns where you have several music schools, opportunities to make sports, theatre, painting classes, etc. The nearest public indoor swimming pool is only 10 minutes away by car. There are two aerodromes, both 30 minutes away by car.

Not only is the house located near good roads that allow you to travel to just about anywhere , but also within 2 years it will have a highway (just 7 km far from the house) which will further facilitate  access  to cities like Coimbra, Lisbon, Oporto and even Algarve (this region will be even more valuable).
