Property Description

This quinta on the hills of the Mondego Valley is surrounded by nature. It is a large quinta of nearly 3.5 hectares with a ruin of a stone agricultural building (with a registered footprint area of 35m2). It has magnificent view over several valleys and the mountains.

It consists of mostly nice flat terraces and it has a magnificent view over several valleys and the mountains. On the plot grow various fruit and olive trees and grapevines as well as (umbrella) pines and some oaks and cork oaks. Eucalyptus trees are planted on a part of the land.

The quinta has 2 wells and one water mine which also has water during the summer. Electricity is about 800 meters away but given the location, solar energy is also an interesting option.

There is the possibility of buying neighbouring land.

The quinta is private without being secluded. The last 500 meters are a passable dirt road.
The nearest village is Vale Igreja, at 500 meters, where there is a café. Paranhos da Beira is about 3km away. Here are cafes, restaurants and some supermarkets, post office, bank, medical clinic, schools. Nelas and Seia are at about 10km (with the Mondego in between). The nature park of the Serra da Estrela, is 25km away. Here also lies the highest mountain in Portugal.
