The paddock is irrigated by one of the wells and by the valeta (traditional irrigation channel) that brings water from one of the local rivers. The paddock contains many fruit trees, about 25 olive, several different types of plum, apple, pear & persimmon.

Across the lane from the main property is a small parcel of land, partially cleared that is currently unused but could be developed further for grazing, crops or as an addition to the garden.
