A concrete water storage tank next to the utility room stores water for irrigation and can be supplied either by pumped water from an open well or the main bore hole, at the moment it is home for various species of many fresh water fish.

Connected to main electricity, the water is supplied from a bore hole well (72 meters deep) bottle gas is used for water heating and cooking.

The property is on the outskirts of the village of Midões only a short distance from the village shop, bars, restaurant, bakery, butchers, bank, dentist, pharmacy and medical centre.

It is close to the main road mid-way between the towns of Tábua and Olivera do Hospital each being some 10 minutes’ drive away.

We are close to the Estrella Mountains; these offer wonderful sightseeing an also provide a winter skiing facility.

Portugal’s beautiful 3rd City and the ancient capital of Portugal Coimbra is about 40 minutes’ drive away.

After a hard day at the river beach or a shopping trip to Coimbra etc. it’s nice to chill out with a glass of top quality Portuguese wine bought at local prices, on the back veranda watching the sun go down.
