The part that has been purchased in order to have a private entrance to the plot is ideal for setting up an orchard. The remainder of the land is large enough, so that both permaculture can be practised and a spacious (ornamental) garden can be laid out. Without compromises. The west side of the plot is bordered by a small river through which water flows all year round. On the east side, the small streams that are well known in northern Portugal flow, they can be used to irrigate the land. With a simple water filter, we know from experience, this water can also be used perfectly as drinking water. Of course it is possible to create your own well on the land. The cost of this option is relatively low.
