Land with 3.5ha, olive & fruit trees, cork, pine & a lake for irrigation

Property Advertised by: Licensed Estate Agent

Property Description

A well appointed plot of land with 3.5ha, made up of terraced areas and fertile soil.

Offering views out over the countryside of Portugal and the Spanish mountains. Excellent views, great access and an abundance of water make this an ideal property for smallholding and homesteading, permaculture, self-sufficiency and agricultural projects.

300 mature olive trees provide a good volume of high quality olive oil annually and the land has been treated organically.
Currently subsidies pay approximately €1,400 for the maintenance of these trees.

It also has a diverse mixture of established fruit trees such as apples, pear, peach, quince and fig as well as 70 cork oaks, some pine, eucalyptus and oak which can be used for firewood.

The land still has plenty of potential for planting more trees as there is definitely enough space. All of the trees have been well cared for over the years and are in top condition.

It has a huge charca, or dug out lake, which has been banked and has a wall with a tube and tap system for easy irrigation.

Access is fantastic and it is just a few moments walk from the village. Car access is perfect. There is another access way to the lower land.
