Property Description

It concerns two old textile factories that are built entirely of impressive granite stones. The walls are still undisturbed and require a new destination such as Tourist project, restaurant, spa, resort, rest home or other forms of activity like agriculture. In other words you can rebuild all the ruins in the way that you want with all kind of activities.

The land consists of 16 hectares belong to the factories, which consists partly of fertile agricultural land with granite terrace walls and irrigation channels and a part of rocky ground where there is currently little growth. A river with clean water from the Serra da Estrela and its own waterfall runs along the farmland.

Further on is a granite house that is registered as a house but is no longer habitable. Electricity connection is present but generating electricity with hydropower as a sustainable energy source could also be an option.

The accessibility is good via a quiet asphalt road. The village of Folgosinho and Melo are about 4 km away. A larger city like Gouveia is 12 km away and Guarda is about 45 km away. The Serra da Estrela where you can walk beautifully and can be skiing in the winter is less than an hour away.
