Situated around 25km from the Spanish border where the nearby city of Moraleja is a bustling market town. Just a couple of villages away is the world heritage UNESCO Ichnalogical park where there is a wonderful fossil route to walk and a stunning natural swimming pool fed by the dam which is used also for swimming. Just further along the road is the Spa town of Termas de Monfortinho which boasts a natural spa and some lovely swimming and relaxing areas.
