The house is secluded but not isolated.

There is a river beach within 10 minute drive, a ski resort 1.5 hours drive, and the nearest seaside is Figueira da Foz which is also 1.5 hours drive, closer to home we have fishing and there is also a out door sports at the dam near Mortagua 15-20 mins away. There is plenty to see and do within a short distance from the village, with larger towns of Mortagua 10 km and Arganil 20km with large supermarkets and Arganil has a market every Thursday. Fiestas at various times throughout the year in the village.
