Bathrooms with bath and shower (studio is shower only), full central heating, log burning fires and tv and satellite dish reception.

All apartments have a booklet with information about the enchanting environment, touristic highlights and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

The building is surrounded by a patio with outdoor kitchen and BBQ, a modern spa with sauna, shower and toilet and a large saltwater pool with lawns. The borehole on the property provides drinking water, heated by a new solar installation.

The owner’s house

One of the apartments could easily be refurbished into an owner’s/caretaker house.

It has a double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower which is built into the side of a mountain rock, making it a very attractive feature.

From this apartment you can enter the spacious lounge, which can be transformed into a private living/dining room. It has central heating as well as a fireplace, two high wall-sized storage for linen and stock and doors to the street and the patio. It can easily serve as a private living room for the owner or caretaker.

The owner’s house has a big terrace in front. An elegant fence separates the seating area from the small road leading to the river.

The parking place lies in the shadow of plane trees and has room for guests as well as the owner/caretaker.

The patio with BBQ and sauna and the salt water pool

The patio has a large outdoor kitchen with barbecue and cabinets for dishes, pans and cutlery.

On the patio are the storage facilities for the heating system, water boilers and combustivel.

The salt water pool, which has been completely renovated in February 2014, is large (13×7 meter) and deep (2.25 meter). Grass meadows surround the pool.

In 2013, a large electrical sauna was build, with spectacular views of the rocks. The spa also offers a shower, a toilet and a sink.

A comprehensive map with hiking trails is available, as well as tourist information on highlights in the area.

Kindergarten, Schools, Universities

There’s a Kindergarten in the village (300m); near village as an Elementary school (4km); in Oliveira do Hospital are Secundary schools (14km) and in Coimbra (80km) and Viseu (74 km) are universities. International schools are in Lisbon and in Oporto.
