Shopping is possible in a distance of about 15km to several small towns including, Nelas, with an international train station, Seia with bigger cultural events, Oliveira do Hospital with the local Council and shops and the village of Fiais with a SPA Hotel in 8 km distance. There is also a hot spring Hotel and Treatment Centre in Caldas da Felgueria at a 6 km distance at the River Mondego.

It is a very beautiful and very well preserved traditional farmhouse, with almost 1 hectare of land.
