A 3 bedroom farm house with a 2 bedroom barn conversion and a 2 bedroom cottage, all renovated and already operating as a holiday business. The main farm house is made of granite, with three bedrooms and has a veranda on two sides. There is a concrete patio area at the front with a garden and a swimming pool at one end. It is fully gas central heated with a modern fitted kitchen/dining room that still retains its character and has the original stone bread oven still in working order, infact when lit the bread oven heats the whole house. The converted barn is fully furnished and is let throughout the summer. It has a split level first floor with a fitted modern kitchen/ dining room and an open plan livingroom with a granite feature wall and log burner. There are french windows leading onto a private patio with a built in BBQ. Upstairs there are 2 large bedrooms with a bathroom and storage. It is very light and airy and would make a lovely permanent home. It has satellite TV. Outside is a large tiled patio with a 7x3m swimming pool and toddler pool.
The cottage is also fully furnished and is let throughout the summer months. It has an openplan living/dining/ kitchen on one floor with a wrap around balcony that has views over the countryside. It has a log burner and original granite walls. Downstairs are 2 bedrooms, one of which has built in bunk beds, and a large shower room. The master bedroom has french windows leading onto a private patio.
All of the houses are set apart for privacy yet have easy access to both swimming pools etc...with parking
It would be ideal for an extended family, or for tourism with the potential to develop more. The quinta has its own spring water supply for all three houses with soak away septic tanks. It could become an eco resort if it had its own electricty supply!
The current owners have fenced all of the terraces near the houses to ensure safety, and these have tractor access. These would be great for agriculture or for animals. We have several flat pastures that are amongst the trees that would be ideal for additional accommodation or for animals.
The quinta is a ten minute walk into the village of Vila Nova de Oliveirinha that has 3 bars/cafes, 2 mini supermarkets, fish mongers, pharmacy, firestation and cash point machine. We are also just a ten minute drive from Oliveira do Hospital with all of its amenities. The property is ideally located for all local acitivites such as river swimming, kayaking, climbing, skiing in winter, mountain biking etc.
