The House:
Casa Anexo is a traditional granite built farmhouse, dating from the 18th century, with walls almost 1 metre thick in the oldest part of the house. It is located on the waterfront, only 20 metres from the Dão river, in beautiful green surroundings. Every room in the house has a view of the river.

The Land:
More than 9,000m2 (just under a hectare) officially classified for organic farming. Behind the house are terraces good for farming, closer to the river there are oak and cork oak trees.
Location:
One of the three large cottages of a One of the three large cottages of a tourism complex (which is also offered for sale as a whole, see QRD875: Riverside Tourism Complex) on the shore of the Dão river, part of Lake Aguieira. Beautifully located 2km from the old town of Santa Comba Dão, between the cities of Coimbra (45km) and Viseu (35km) in central Portugal.
South border: The Dão river, which at this point is part of Lake Aguiera .
North border: The Ecopista do Dão, a 52km long cycling and hiking track. Formerly a railway, it follows the river and is therefore flat and excellent for cycling. The Quinta is situated at km 2 of the Ecopista. The opening of this track is expected in March of 2011 (project with European funds).
Good access by car as well as by public transport. 50km from Coimbra, 250km from Lisbon and 150km from Porto. There is a train station 2km from the property (2½ hours by train to Lisbon and Oporto).
