A detached stone house with great views over the countryside near Serta, central Portugal. It is set over two floors and does require modernisation and renovation work.

The ground floor of the property has been used for storage, but could be converted into additional living accommodation. The ground floor is divided into three rooms each with independent exterior access. All of these rooms have dirt floors and exposed stone walls.
Mains electricity is connected and water is from a borehole and 2 wells, which provides plenty of water throughout the year.
The 3,000m2 (0.75 acre) plot has a variety of mature olive and pine trees as well as a large cork oak. The land is situated on a hillside, though this is not too steep and has been terraced in the past.
The house has good access and is set back from a tarmac road, there is a neighbouring property on the opposite side.
The closest town to the property is situated at Cernache do Bonjardim 9km away. Cernache do Bonjardim has cafes, bars, shops, mini-market, pharmacy and schools.
The larger town of Serta is 15km away and has several supermarkets, shops, restaurants, banks, schools, health centres, cafe bars, parks and municipal buildings and is easy to access off the IC8 dual carriageway.
The closest airport at Lisbon is 190km, whilst Porto airport is 200km. Both airports are serviced by several low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
