The larger, historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is around 15 minutes drive from the property and has a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafés, restaurants, banks, pharmacies, historic monuments, parks, health centres, hospital, sports centres, swimming pools and university. Lisbon is around 1hr 30 minutes drive.
