A three bedroom detached stone house in need of some modernisation work for sale near Alvaiazere, central Portugal.

The house, which is set over two floors, is in a habitable condition though would benefit from some renovation. The windows and door surrounds are stone and the external doors and window frames are wooden.

The main entrance to the house is accessed on the first floor via an external staircase at the side. This staircase leads into a dining room, which has a wooden floor and ceiling. There are three bedrooms all of which have wooden floors.

A rustic style kitchen is accessed off the living room. The kitchen has a corner fireplace and a built in base level unit housing a stainless steel sink. The living room is double aspect, has a wooden floor, and has an exterior door leading out to an external staircase at the rear of the house.

The bathroom is partially tiled and would benefit from some updating, it has a toilet, bidet, shower and pedestal sink.

The ground floor of the house is accessed via a set of double-opening wooden doors at the front. It is fairly clean and has a wooden beamed ceiling, a concrete floor, and has been used traditionally for storage purposes, though could be converted into additional living accommodation quite easily. It has been divided into two rooms, one of which is double aspect.

Connected to both mains water and electricity.

The property also has a collection of stone and brick outbuildings, all of which are single storey.

To the side of the house there is a detached garage, which has been constructed in block and has a wooden beamed roof.

The property has a good-sized plot of land, which is all relatively flat and situated at the rear of the house. The land has a variety of fruit and olive trees and there is a well for irrigation purposes, ideal for a vegetable plot.

The house is set back from a quiet cobbled lane, there are neighbours nearby but not close enough to compromise the privacy of the property.
Situated in a peaceful location close to all amenities. The closest town is Alvaiazere 10 minutes away, where you can find a variety of shops, cafes, a supermarket, health centre, weekly market and bus station.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is one and three quarter hours by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
