Situated within the heart of the village of Póvoa, which has several cafés and a small mini-market. Although the property is within the village it is private and not overlooked. It is within walking distance of the amenities and is only around 7km from the historic town of Tomar. Tomar is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo and has a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, health centres, banks, swimming pool, cinema, libraries, art galleries, hospital, schools and university. The closest airport to the property is Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
