The cottage lies at the edge of a village just 3 miles from the market town of Ansião. The nearest bar/mini market is about 5 minutes walk away. The nearest neighbours are about 50 metres away. The views are very pleasant. As the road is a dead end one, it is very peaceful, but not isolated. It has been 50% restored and is totally habitable.

Outside there is a large garden with fig, olive, plum, apple, and various other fruit trees. The garden needs landscaping/tidying up.
At the end of the garden there is a stone built ruin with 6 rooms, bread oven, and a roof! It all needs restoring but permission is not required.
