The estate is a working organic/biodynamic farm of pasture, agricultural land, forest, olive groves, orchards, and gardens. The farm owns a flock of the rare breed Bordeleira sheep, native to this region. On the estate there are a total of 7 traditional farmbuildings/houses, built with large granite stones, each with their own private gardens & terraced farmland of 2.5 - 5 hectares each. A new tarmac country roads leads up to the estate, which is beautifully situated in a luscious green valley. In August the estate organises a week-long festival with theatre, music, dance, art and workshops. The estate is characterised by:

1. Nature & Agriculture: a varied and rich landscape consisting of pastures, agriculture, woodland, olive groves, fruit orchards and vegetable gardens. Biodynamic agriculture (certified by Demeter) takes care of the production of extra virgin olive oil, olives, sheep, cherries, vegetables, herbs and fruit. The estate also has 10 horses and a donkey.
2. Eco-tourism: the authentic quintas are renovated, there is accommodation and a campsite for guests. Slow Food, sales of local products.
3. Art & Culture : development of the estate into a Cultural, the annual Art Festival, open air theatre, amfitheatre, Artist-in-Residence Programme, Masterclasses, professional dancefloor.
