This 3 bedroom detached stone house is in a habitable condition though would benefit from some modernisation works being carried out.
The house has aluminium framed windows throughout with traditional style exterior shutters. The window and door surrounds are carved stone and the walls of the house are approximately 50cm thick. The house is set over 2 floors and does have an attic. The main living accommodation is situated on the first floor, though also has an exterior access door to the ground floor.

The main entrance to the house is located to the side and is accessed via an exterior set of stone steps. The main entrance, a traditional style set of double doors, leads into the living room which is double aspect and has a wooden floor and ceiling. Off the living room there are 2 traditional sized bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors and ceilings. A hallway, with wooden floor, provides access to the property's bathroom, staircases to the attic and ground floor, as well as to the kitchen.

The bathroom is partially tiled and has a bath with a shower above, toilet, bidet and pedestal sink. The kitchen is located at the rear of the house and has a large, traditional fireplace. There is a stainless steel sink and drainer and some free standing units. The kitchen has an exterior door and does need some modernisation work carrying out. Off the kitchen there is a dining room, which has a concrete floor and partially wooden beamed ceiling.

The attic is accessed via a set of wooden stairs and has a wooden beamed roof and exposed stone walls. At present the attic, which also has a gable end window, is only used for storage purposes but could be converted into an additional bedroom quite easily.

The ground floor accommodation is also accessed via a wooden staircase. The staircase leads into a large storage room which has exposed stone walls and a dirt floor. There is a second storage room off the first, which also has exposed stone walls. This room also has an exterior access door which leads out to the front of the house. The second storage room has been used for storing and making wine and the wine vat is still in situ. Off this storage room there is a further bedroom. This bedroom has a tiled floor.

The property is connected to both mains water and electricity.

At the rear of the property there are several single storey animal sheds. These buildings have been constructed at a later time than the house and can be accessed from the kitchen across a patio.
The property also has a further set of animal and storage barns at the rear. One of these barns is set over 2 floors and all have wooden beamed roofs. These storage and animal barns measure 158m2 of construction and are all in a reasonably good condition and ideal for someone looking for additional storage space or a workshop area.

At the side of the house there is a gravel driveway which provides access to the land and the animal and storage barns. The property has 1,860m2 of land with a number of mature fruit and olive trees. It does have a slight incline, which has been terraced, and there are a number of low, stone walls. It also has a large well for irrigation purposes.

The house is set up on a quiet gravel road which leads to a few other houses and therefore only receives a small amount of traffic. It has good views over the surrounding countryside and could, with a little work, be transformed into a sizeable holiday or permanent home.

The property is situated in the village of Avecasta which has a small mini-market and cafe though there is a larger supermarket approximately 2km away in a neighbouring hamlet. The larger town of Ferreira do Zêzere is around 15-20 minutes drive away. Ferreira do Zêzere has a range of restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, banks, schools, health centre, sports centre, library and bus station.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, is also around 15-20 minutes drive from the property. Tomar is a popular and bustling town with a good variety of restaurants, cafes, shops, banks, hospital, university, schools and leisure facilities.

The closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is around 1hr 30 minutes by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines, which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
