A traditional three bedroom detached stone house in need of modernisation. The house is set over one floor, measuring 300m2 of construction, and has been partially modernised. It is basically habitable, though still requires some work carrying out.

The main entrance to the house, double-opening metal doors, leads directly into the living room which has a wooden floor and ceiling, and internal wooden shutters. Off the living room there are two traditional sized bedrooms, both of which have wooden floors and ceilings. There is a hallway off the living room which gives access to the third bedroom, which has a tiled floor.

The kitchen is accessed by an archway off the hallway and has a tiled floor. The kitchen has partially tiled walls and a built-in stainless steel sink and drainer, and would greatly benefit from updating. There is a corner fireplace within the kitchen and the hot water heater is also in situ. The bathroom has already been modernised and is accessed off the kitchen. The bathroom is fully tiled, has a wooden ceiling, and has a shower, toilet, bidet and vanity basin with storage cupboard beneath.

A wooden staircase off the hallway leads to the attic of the house. The attic has a wooden floor and wooden beamed roof. At present the attic is being used for storage purposes though could easily be converted into another bedroom or additional living space if required.

The house is connected to both mains water and electricity.

At the rear of the house is a large open fronted storage building, which has a wooden beamed roof and a concrete floor, and could easily be converted into additional living space. There are further storage buildings behind the house as well as animal corrals. One of the storage buildings has an attic which is accessed via an external concrete staircase.

The property is set on a plot measuring 900m2, all of which is relatively flat with a number of mature olive trees. The property is walled to the front, with personnel and vehicle access gates.

The house is easy to access being set back from a quiet road, situated in the small hamlet of Rego da Murta where there are several cafes and restaurants within walking distance.

The town of Alvaiázere , which has a range of shops, mini-markets, swimming pool, school, pharmacies, banks, post office and town hall is 5km drive from the property. The property is easy to access and has good links to the National 110 road.

The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the Convento do Cristo, is 25km by car. Tomar has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafes, banks, bars, cinema, bowling alley, historic monuments, sports centres, a hospital, a university, and bus and train stations.

The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around 1 hour and 40 minutes drive. Lisbon airport is serviced by a variety of low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
