A popular trout stream runs close to the property and, within a 25 min car ride, you can fish for black bass and carp at the Barragem de Cabril lake.
There are a number of fluvial (river) beaches nearby which are open during the summer months. At Campelo there is a bathing pool located near a restaurant which serves fresh fish from its own trout farm.
