At the approach to the cottage is a small area of land that could be used for parking. In front of this, adjacent to the road are some small ruins which apparently are also for sale.

The property is on a total plot of 2,000m2, much of this is sloping woodland with a variety of trees, including olives, fig and oranges. There is a sizeable plot of 500m2 to the right-hand-side of the house, which is level and could be made into a lovely garden.

There is a rarely used, narrow public right of way along the boundary at the rear of the property.

This house is situated in a hill-top village with traditional cafes and villages just a few minutes away, approximately ten minutes from the historic town of Penela, with all the facilities for day-to-day living. The university town of Coimbra is around 35 minutes away and Porto airport a drive of around one hour and 45 minutes.
