Traditional Mongolian yurts
Photo Album for this property.
Pure Portugal is very proud to be advertising Ulaantaij Yurts in Portugal and we will have a 5m show yurt available to view in Central Portugal from June 2007. All yurts purchased via Pure Portugal come with a free woodburning stove.
Delivery: We have partnered with PPS Transport who can safely deliver your yurt to your property in Portugal. Transport costs are in addition to the cost of the yurt (see below) and start at £300.
We have also partnered with a carpenter who can make you a wooden base/decking for your yurt.
In Portugal you do not need planning permission for yurts - for either temporary or permanent living.

Constructed using natural components and materials.
Our Yurts are decorated and/or carved with traditional Mongolian designs.
Easy to maintain, assemble and disassemble.
UK & Mongolian based company, hence we are always on hand to help.
As an original maker of yurts, we can directly control quality and offer a myriad of options.
Yurts are cool in summer and warm in winter. They range in size from 5 to 16 meters in diameter. Great as a weekend getaway, children's play house or spare room, permanent or temporary housing, artists studio, yoga or meditation retreat, restaurant, guest accommodation, office, retreat housing, campground rentals, unique retail shop, or other commercial uses and much more.
Painted Yurts: A painted yurt is a yurt where the door and internal woodwork are painted in one or more colours, on top of which traditional Mongolians designs are painted.
Carved Yurts: A carved yurt is a true work of art. Each piece of wood is carefully chosen for its colour and grain. After assembly, each yurt component is hand carved with traditional Mongolian designs. The wood is then coated with a clear protective covering such as polyurethane. Carved yurts can take anything from 1-6 months to complete.
