A recently renovated stone house, over 100 years old, located at the edge of a beautiful village not far from Condeixa; Coimbra is only 15 minutes drive and the roman ruins of Conimbriga are only 10 minutes away.

This is a beautiful house with approx 200m2, that was renovated keeping in mind the Portuguese traditional architecture, and that's why some of the original traces were kept, like the back balcony with the well-shaped ancient stone columns and the internal massive iron grid doors.

The house is ready to move into and there are only minor works to be done on the ground floor (paint and fitting another bathroom if wanted).

The house is all stone made and most of the doors and windows are aluminium with double glazing.

The ground floor consists of a garage, a hall with staircase to the upper level, a large room that can be converted to a lounge or another bedroom, and a machinery room prepared for a future second bathroom; from the outside you can access a store for firewood and tools.

Upstairs there is a kitchen, a beautiful lounge with fireplace, a bathroom with shower and two cosy bedrooms; outside there is a balcony/terrace with a barbecue area and in the rear there is an ancient balcony now fully restored.

The ground floors and kitchen have glazed tiles and the rest of the rooms have comfortable wooden floors. The bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and some of the windows keep stone features from the ancient days.

Mains water, electricity, phone line, cable TV, etc. is all connected and fully working.

Unfortunately the house comes without gardens, but what it lacks in land is compensated in a real Portuguese character property and fantastic location with beautiful views, good access, close to Coimbra, motorway junction, train station, historical places, and best of all: no garden maintenance!
