The original building is 70-80 years old and has been fully restored by a British designer (who lives in the village) and his team of highly-skilled builders. It retains the traditional Portuguese feel with whitewashed walls and pretty painted blue doors and windows. The interior has a simple and elegant country finish. All around the area you can see orange and lemon trees, and grape vines intertwine the outdoor wooden beams.
