A two bedroom semi-detached cottage situated near the town of Tomar in Central Portugal.

The cottage, which is connected to mains water and electricity, is set over one floor and has stone window and door surrounds. The cottage has aluminium framed windows and doors and is in a basic habitable condition though does require modernisation work.

The cottage is set back from a quiet road and measures 79m2 of construction.

The cottage has been constructed in stone and has 50cm thick walls. There are some internal wooden shutters. The main entrance to the cottage leads directly into the living room, which has a wooden floor and ceiling. Off the living room there are two bedrooms, both with wooden floors and ceilings. The kitchen also has a wooden floor and a wooden beamed ceiling has some base and eye level built in units. There is a sink and drainer and an exterior access door which leads out to the rear of the cottage. The bathroom is partially tiled and has a shower, toilet and pedestal sink though would benefit from modernisation work.

Although the cottage's living accommodation is set over one floor there is a cellar room, due to the property's siting on a slight hillside. This cellar room has exposed stone walls and a dirt floor as well as a wooden beamed ceiling.

The cottage has a garden of 161m2 and there is a ruined building at the rear, which is included within the sale. There are some mature fruit trees and shrubs within the garden in addition to a well.

The cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Longra, near Tomar. There are several café bars near the property and the larger town of Tomar is around 10 minutes drive from the cottage. Tomar has supermarkets, post offices, health centres, pharmacies, cinema, library, art galleries, municipal swimming pools, UNESCO listed castle and convent, bus and train station and a bowling alley.

The property is situated in a peaceful location with good views over the countryside and central to many activities within the region. The property is easily accessed and the closest airport to the property is located at Lisbon, which is approximately one and a half hours drive.
