Large granite house situated in a quiet lane on the edge of a village with 2 general stores, bakery, butchers, 3 bars, restaurant, & primary school. The house is structurally sound but needs internal renovation. Magical garden with mature trees, huge boulders, fruit trees and shady seating areas. Enough space for a vegetable patch and ideal for creating a forest garden. Garage. Well. Electricity connected. 7km from Tábua.

On the ground floor (street level) is a large room with doors to the street (could convert to self-contained accommodation). Stairs lead up to another very large room on the first floor (garden level) which could easily be divided to provide additional rooms; a few steps lead up from this room to a good-sized room with a shallow granite tank originating from the building's original use as an aguardente (portuguese spirit drink) factory, also in this room is a pottery kiln. The front door from the garden leads into this room. From this room you go up a few more steps into the kitchen with cooking fire and big pantry. A door leads through into the dining room, and off this is the bathroom with shower, WC & washbasin; a double bedroom, and another large room which is partially divided with an archway and would make a fantastic living room. A door from this room leads onto the balcony which wraps around 3 sides of the house and has countryside and mountain views.

From the kitchen, stairs lead up to a large landing and two further double bedrooms on the 2nd floor. The cold-water tank is on the landing.

Outside, at garden level, and adjoining the house is a covered storage area for wood, etc. At street level is a large garage big enough for 4 cars. The well and its pump, which supplies water for the house and garden, is under the garage. The garage has a flat roof (in need of repair) which could be used as a sun terrace/patio etc. Steps next to the garage lead up to a gate into the garden and the front door of the house.
