The District Mayor is interested in supporting a project of Country Tourism, specifically a farm for events and gatherings in Nature (Shamanism, Reiki, Meditation, Yoga, Bio-Energy, etc).

The Municipality of Santarem is extremely well organized and supportive and wants to be a serious and qualitative alternative to Lisbon.
Many of these event facilitators are quite eager to have a farm closer to the centre and together they have a mailing list with more than 10,000 regular clients. This means that organising a few events on this property would be more than enough to quickly bring this farm to public knowledge.
The usual accommodation for these kind of events is wooden cabins with double bed (they are very cheap to build and don't require building licenses).
Of course, this property would also be fantastic as a private smallholding, permaculture farm, equestrian property, etc.
Mains electricity is 450 metres away (and this is an ideal location for solar power), phone with broadband can be connected (also 450 metres away), and there is abundant water all year (from a well with permanent, transparent and abundant water all year long).
The nearest village is 600 meters from the lot. There is a mini-center 4 Km (restaurant, bar and mini-market). It belongs to a very nice family that provides information and contacts on several common services. They are very friendly, as are all in general in the Santarem district.
The property is close to the paved road, and 45 minutes from Lisbon airport.
