The property has stunning views over Castelo do Bode lake and is a short drive to the water's edge within the village. The house is located on the edge of the village of Fontes and there is a café within walking distance. The nearest town to the property is Abrantes which is around 15 minutes drive. Abrantes has a range of supermarkets, shops, cafés, restaurants, bars, health centres, hospital, bus and train stations and river beach.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a quarter hours' by car. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
